Hello, I'm Anna!

I’m a watercolor artist based in Scotts Valley, CA. Originally from Santa Barbara, I was drawn to the natural beauty and creative energy of the Santa Cruz area after earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

I love painting portraits through live events and commissions, along with looser landscape studies where I can explore layered color, atmosphere, and different mediums. I take on custom work from family and pet portraits to homes, illustrations, and stationery design, and I also enjoy teaching watercolor workshops in a fun, approachable way.

When I’m not painting, I’m with my husband and son enjoying our town, with walks to playgrounds and the harbor or by listening to live music at our favorite local brewery. I also enjoy yoga, kickboxing, and taekwondo, and spending time unwinding with cuddles from our orange cat, Noma, or painting in the sun with a glass of wine. We’re also super excited to be welcoming a baby girl this July!
